Medical Expenses for Jordan Ackernecht

This beautiful girl with a lust for life and a light all her own is facing a battle no one wants to imagine. This is my best friend since grade school. She’s one of the most bright, brilliant, and talented people I know. She is a 21 years old college student that found out in February that she will need a heart transplant. With only two semesters left to graduate, her education is on hold. Only one week after being hospitalized and the same day she was to be listed for a donor heart, she suffered a stroke. She was in the hospital and received the best care, however the stroke has delayed her transplant as she will need some time for recovery. This fund will help cover the cost of lodging before and after transplant as she will need to stay near the Bay Area hospital for three months after the transplant. Also, she will need to continue to pay her rent in order to resume her education and return to college in the fall. As her roommates say “This girl could run a small army”. She is in charge and determined to make a full recovery.
