Medical Expenses for June

On Friday, June 18, our June had scans completed to determine if her breast cancer came back. It was confirmed- stage 4, and found in her lung, liver, and bones.

The treatments she’s undergoing are to extend her life for as long as possible, as this is not curable. However, the costs for those treatments are exorbitant.

The various procedures and medications required to slow the progress of her cancer are minimally covered, and the amount of unpaid leave she’ll be taking from work will further add to the financial burden on her and her family.

It is our goal to help offset some of the cost of this- the last thing we want is for her to worry about money on top of the emotional and physical stress and pain she is enduring.
