Medical Expenses for Ken Somerville.

We have all fallen on hard times in our lives. Some more than others. But, if we are lucky, we know someone who is always there to pick us up when we are down. When the deck is stacked against us and the sun doesn’t seem to shine as bright, this person is reaching out a hand to help in any way possible. That’s our big brother, Ken Somerville. With a heart too big to fit in his chest and a back that’s willing to break for the ones he loves, Ken is always available to those who need him. But now, Ken needs our help. Most of you know Ken had a very serious run-in with Covid that really took its toll. He is now dealing with even more serious health concerns. Ken has bone marrow cancer and kidney failure. He will soon have surgery to repair hernias and further procedures to prepare for the possibility of home dialysis as well as clinical dialysis. He will be receiving dialysis for the kidney failure and also chemo treatments for the cancer. He has a long, hard road ahead of him and he needs us now more than ever. Ken is a fighter. He has spent a lot of energy adjusting his diet and walking daily to keep up his strength and stamina.  Despite all of his efforts, the medical treatments are necessary and costly.
