Medical Expenses for Kenzie McCord

Donation protected
Hello all, I am making this on behalf of my Mother Ame for my little sister Kenzie. Kenzie is the 12 year old Merritt Island girl who was struck by lightning on Friday 6/10 outside of her home in Merritt Island. Her and her 2 friends were outside when lightning struck a plam tree and Kenzie and her friend Lori hit the ground. Luckily Ava was okay. Kenzie is in stable condition with a fractured spine, fractured ribs, burns across her neck and back and muscle spasms. A cyst was also found in her head. The doctors are working around the clock to watch over Kenzie and her friend Lori, as lightning can take time to have effects on the body, internal organs and muscles. Kenzie will have to do physical therapy, see a neurologist, and have multiple follow up appointments after being released from the hospital. We are not sure how long her hospital stay will be and my mother will not be working so she can stay with Kenzie throughout this tough time. Please keep my family, my sister, and her friends and their family in your prayers. This is Kenzie’s 4th freak accident in 6 months including serious back and neck injuries. God has been watching over our babygirl and she has a purpose. Unfortenately Kenzie does not have health insurance at the moment, Thank you so much for reading this and we appreciate your continued thoughts and prayers.
