Medical expenses for Kristin due to lung cancer

On September 15th, my sister Kristin’s world had drastically changed as she got the heartbreaking news of lung cancer. Kristin was diagnosed with a rare non-small cell carcinoma of the left lung that resulted in her having an intensive surgery and getting her whole entire left lung removed. She is in recovery for up to 12 weeks and during this time she is to have no contact with anyone, not even her children. During surgery she had lymph nodes taken out for further testing which unfortunately resulted in the cancer being atypical. Because of this, Kristin will be needing chemotherapy/radiation to help reduce the chances of the cancer coming back somewhere else. Kristin has 4 children, all under the age of 13. She is only 28 years old and the most selfless, caring, loving person I know. She will be in and out of appointments, surgeries, chemo visits, etc that will be taking up most of her time and unfortunately insurance doesn’t cover everything. With your help of donations, we will use this to help cover medical bills, as well as personal household necessities and bills as this will result in Kristin not be able to work and support what she needs to for her family at this time.
