Medical Expenses for Luna’s Recovery

Hi everyone! My name is Natalia, and I’m making this fundraiser for my brother’s frenchie, Luna. This Monday, Luna was playing with her friends off-leash in front of my brother’s apartment building in Vietnam. Distracted from all the play, she ran near the road where an incoming car was speeding through. She was run over, her back legs were utterly crushed, and most of her skin and muscles were dragged off. Thankfully, my brother acted quickly and was able to take her immediately to the vet, where they took her in for a 3-hour surgery. She has no major broken bones, but she has delicate wounds that affected muscle and ligaments in her left leg. Her right leg might have to be amputated due to the severity of the impact and wound. But doctors are still exploring other options aside from amputation. The upcoming surgeries are pending due to necrosis affecting skin surrounding wounds (primarily on right leg which is still an open wound that has been bandaged), the dying skin must be controlled before a surgery is proposed. She is a strong little puppy who has been fighting for her life and never once lost consciousness after the accident despite the significant blood loss. We are all praying for a miracle and kindly ask that if there is anything you can donate financially, please do. Luna is fighting to survive, and we aren’t giving up on her! She has been my brother's greatest companion throughout the COVID lockdowns in Vietnam this past year and his only family on that side of the world. It's a miracle she survived the impact and the first surgery. All money collected through this GoFund Me will go to her surgeries, antibiotics, physical therapy, and all other medical necessities she will need to get through this very difficult time.
