Medical Expenses for Madi Lauzon

Donation protected
***SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM DANIEL AND LAUREN: We are so incredibly blessed with the donations that have been sent to us to help support our Madi. The amount we have already received has far surpassed anything we ever could have imagined. So far she has had five surgeries with more to come in the future to repair everything that happened from the accident. God has shown up and shown out in our lives over the last four days and without him none of this would be possible. We have no idea how much the medical expenses will end up costing. We know it will be A LOT. We were also told we will be coming back and forth to Jackson for therapy and the other surgeries. If you feel led to help us with the financial part of this, we greatly appreciate it. If not, please continue to pray for our Madi and her healing.

Update 10.14.2023 from Lauren:
Just a little Madi update for your Saturday it's been one week since our world stopped. It's spinning again and we are witnessing miracle after miracle for our Madi. It's hard to understand God's plans for your kids and there was lots of questioning this week, but here we are seven days in and witnessing so much strength and positivity. Madi's recovery time was told to be almost a year and even then some things just might not work right, but you know what, our baby is alive and she will thrive!

Oxford and the state of MS (along with others from different states) have been so wonderful to our family. We love you you; we feel you; we thank you.

Please keep Madi in your prayers. Pray for strength, positivity, and healing! Remember everything can change in an instant and don't take anything for granted. Love God and love people

Update 10.13.2023 from Daniel:
Madi had a good day today, but it ended with a little disappointment. She woke up feeling good and had more visitors which she loves. We were told this morning she would get to go home today. Madi was SO excited. During PT today she got dizzy a few times when standing up so they’ve decided to keep her one more day. When this whole ordeal started we never thought she’d be going home this soon, but she has surprised all of the doctors and nurses with her grit and determination. She is currently watching her Chargers play and yelling at the screen! She would much rather be cheering on the sidelines.

Update 10.12.2023 from Lauren:
Today was a day of rest for Madi. She got to talk to friends and see some visitors. We are working on a plan to recovery. Yesterdays surgeries were game changers so we have to keep that momentum going. She said today it really hadn't hit her yet-the what happened and what it means for her future (especially with cheer). There are going to be some hard days, but she's a fighter and has unbelievable faith. Please continue to pray for her whole healing and the mental aspect of this that she will eventually have to face.

Again, Daniel and I are blown away by your love, support, and kindness. We know we are blessed to have the community of Oxford beside us, as well as people from all of the state (well, a few states). You being along in our journey and loving our family will be forever cherished.

Update 10.11.2023 from Daniel:
We appreciate every prayer you have all said for our baby girl. She needs a lot more this morning, she will be having an extensive reconstruction of her elbow joint and the surrounding tissues. Please pray for the surgical team and everyone involved, we need some big miracles this morning. Madi slept through the night and woke up in great spirits. She has been anxious for each of these surgeries to get started as they have come and is ready to go again this morning. All of your prayers are helping, please keep it up team!

Update 10.10.2023 from Lauren:
Today was a good day for Madi. No surgeries. She woke up and said, "I have a list of things to do today!" and she did them all. She got to meet with a PT and get out of bed; she got to wash her hair (or nurse Madison washed her hair actually); she got to go outside; she got to see Knox.

We need very specific prayers over tonight and tomorrow. Her surgery team has decided to take her back tomorrow to recheck her arm and possibly do skin graft. Doing skin graft tomorrow would be best case scenario and she needs that.

She's been emotional this evening. She's cried a lot. I think it's finally hitting her-what happened. Shes also amazed at the love and support she's been given and it makes her happy but sad all at the same time. Please pray too for her emotional well-being as she deals with this.

Daniel and I are so unbelievably thankful for all of you. You guys have provided so much for our family in the last 72 hours. We are so incredibly blessed by each of you. I hope God blesses you all as much as he has blessed us. Your outpouring of love, prayers, and support are so appreciated. Please keep praying for Madi. We aren't over all of our hurdles yet and would love for Madi to be covered in prayer now and the days to come.

Update 10.9.2023 from Lauren:
She had surgery today for five hours! She came out of surgery and asked for two things. 1. Chocolate ice cream and 2. Her brother
The doctors are very pleased. She will have another surgery on Thursday for skin grafts. Please keep praying for Madi's recovery and strength. Also pray for Wyatt-he was driving the side by side. He needs all the support emotionally. Again, Daniel Lauzon and I are so unbelievably grateful to all of you #madistrong

Update 10.9.2023 from Lauren:
Good morning everyone. Thank you so much for the prayer, love, and support you are sending our sweet Madi. Today is a big day for her with three different surgeries so please wake up and spend your day praying for her. We feel them and want them to keep coming.

Madi is so strong and so brave. She has told us multiple times "it's part of God's plan". We are trusting in that and trusting that she will come home with her family.

I really want you all to know how much Daniel Lauzon and I appreciate all of you. Please keep Madi in your thoughts and prayers. #madistrong
