Medical Expenses for Maurice Alexander

Hi, my name is Daniela Alexander and I’m raising funds for my dad Maurice Alexander who has been hospitalized since 8/22/23. He is a 62 y/o Navy Seabee Veteran and has been working as a Pipefitter on Port Hueneme Naval Base for 30+ years after his military service. He is a strong and kind soul who is a natural social butterfly and befriends all he comes in contact with. He’s apart of a local 805 Niners Empire Football Club and Channel Islands 4x4 Jeep Club which he’s passionate about. Unfortunately since that Tuesday I took him to the ER for severe abdominal pain that was unexplainable for a few days which caused him excruciating pain and symptoms with little to no relief after a week with no improvement he ultimately needed Exploratory Open Abdominal Surgery which showed he had a bad complication from Diverticulitis intestinally. This all happened so suddenly at a time where my Dad already has more than enough financial hardship and stress. He is still fighting to get better to get back to work and the things he loves. I want him to be able to focus on recovery and not the debts waiting at his door step after an extended 2 week Hospital stay still pending discharge and readjusting to his day to day after surgery ahead of him. I’m hoping to give his situation some hope and light as he deserves! Anything would be truly appreciated and helpful
