Medical expenses for Miriam Findley.

Most of us know her as Mimi. Mimi has been a part of our lives for a number of years as she taught many of us at HHS, some at Edgewood Academy and AUM.

As some may already know, Mimi has suffered more than one stroke recently and she is now temporarily sheltered in the Wetumpka, AL Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility.

With that being said, it doesn't matter what a person's income is, medical bills can absolutely effect one's livelihood. This is the case with Mimi and her family. Whether in a nursing facility or private care at home, unexpected medical bills can hit any of us at any time. It can be a tragedy to the patient and to the patient's family.

I accepted the honor to help the Findley family and I am reaching out to everyone who can spare a few dollars to donate to Mimi's cause. As most of her students know, Mimi taught us well as...

Teaching requires friendship - Mimi is our friend;

Teaching requires leadership - Mimi taught us to try and be the BEST in our class;

Teaching requires guidance - it's only natural to look to one's teacher so, we looked at her to keep us on the right path as Mimi was one of our daily contacts;

Teaching requires communication - Mimi helped us link to our world;

However, without her dedication, none of the aforementioned teaching requirements could've made us successful.

With that being said, on behalf of Mimi's family, her friends (including her former students) and to all who do not know what a wonderful, caring person Mimi is, the Findley family also humbly reaches out for any monetary support you are able to give. If you simply cannot afford to donate, we ask that you keep Mimi and her family in your prayers as God is GOOD!
