Medical Expenses for Miss Robin White
Donation protected
The week of July 13th, 2020 Miss Robin did not go to either of her 2 jobs, Summer Creek High School where she's worked full-time as a custodian for the past 2 years and Checkers where she's worked as a cashier/prep since 2018, because she was feeling very weak and ill.
The morning of July 17th 2020, Miss Robin was feeling worse than before and after the advice of a friend/coworker at Summer Creek, she went to Texas Emergency Room where she was told her oxygen levels were dangerously low and that she only had hours to live. The emergency room tried for hours to find a pulmonary and oxygen therapist specialist but none were available in the Greater Houston Area due to the pandemic. After many long hours of trying and eventually expanding their search even further, Cedar Park Regional Medical Center accepted her as a patient. Atascocita Fire Dept picked her up from the ER and took her to the destination for her Life Flight to Cedar Park. The medical professionals kept Miss Robin safe until she reached her next destination.
Saturday, July 18th, the pulmonary specialist performed surgery where stents were implanted into her neck extending to her belly to collect the blood clots due to lack of oxygen.
Currently, July 20th, Miss Robin is in the process of transferring back to a local Houston/Humble facility to continue her road to recovery.
This fundraiser is to help relieve some the financial stress from all the medical and living expenses Miss Robin is accumulating so that she can focus on her health and recovery. Miss Robin lives by herself and has always worked very hard to make an honest living even if that meant working 60+ hours a week, on her feet, at 2 jobs, with no car. Miss Robin has always cared for and contributed back to the children most at risk in her community since she started working for the school systems in 1994 in her hometown of La Bronx, NY where she was family worker.
