Hi, my name is Amy and I’m a friend of the Shoemaker family. Peter is currently in a medically induced coma on life support. Funds will be used for medical expenses and travel expenses for the family.

As some of you may know the Shoemaker family lost their home last year to a fire on prom night. Unfortunately, their homeowners insurance had lapsed so the house and a car were a total loss as well as losing a beloved dog in the fire.

The family has not recovered financially from the fire and now Peter is in a medically induced coma on a ventilator with life-saving measures being taken. His diagnosis’s are polynephritis, septic shock, pneumonia, and diabetic ketosis.

Peter had been ill and was misdiagnosed at Urgent Care.

As most of you know, Peter and Gideon had moved out to Seattle for Peter’s job, and when the school year ends this year for Stormie Dusti is planning on moving to Seattle. Aidan is currently in college in Seattle.

The entire family is together now at Peter’s side.
