Medical Expenses for Protestor Hit by Car in Btown

TRANSPARENCY: This site says funds are benefiting me. They are not. They are going directly to my friend, but for her privacy and without the consent to share her name, I've used my own name so that we can get funds to her as quickly as possible.

After protesting in support of Black Lives Matter, my friend and I were walking home when a car tried to run through other protesters. We tried to stop the car, but the WHITE WOMAN driving wouldn’t stop. My friend was in the front of the car and as the car continued to drive FAST, my friend jumped on the car to prevent it from running her over. The car drove at full speed for two blocks, through red lights until she was thrown off the vehicle when the driver made a fast right turn. 

My friend is currently at the hospital. Tests are being run. She is alive. She has two part-time jobs and she will need help with medical expenses. If you can contribute, please help! Thank you.

EDIT: My friend has a concussion. She will be okay. Funds raised will go to the ambulance and emergency test fees.

Any additional funds will be donated to BLM Bloomington and other organizations with Black leadership fighting and advocating to dismantle white supremacy, as per the wishes of the protestor.  The work isn’t over. Please continue to show up and take action.
