Medical Expenses For Richard Davis

Hi, my name is Cherish Davis. I am fundraising for my Uncle Richard Davis. My uncle is the type of man who would give the shirt off his back, or his last dollar to someone in need. I have seen him do this so many times. I feel it is my duty to help him and his daughter in their time of need. On November 17th my uncle was working on a vehicle replacing a fuel pump. He had accidentally gotten fuel on his clothing when something sparked and caught him on fire. Richard is 61 years old and was life flighted to OSU Hospital with 3rd degree burns on the entire upper half of his body, he has since then developed other health issues, such as infections, Pneumonia, had to have part of his colon removed, has to have dialysis several times a week, and some heart issues have developed. He has had multiple surgeries and will have multiple more to come in the future. He has recently started becoming more alert and breathing on his own. He does still need the help of the ventilator from time to time. He has had multiple transfusions after each skin graphing and bandage changes. We need help with medical expenses now and in the future. When he comes home, he will need to have many appointments to and from Dialysis, Wound clinic, Therapy and many other appointments. As well as bandaging at home and proper care and feeding tube formula. He has 1 child, and she has been doing all she can to pay his bills at home to keep them from being disconnected. She has been by his side everyday driving about 45 miles each way, while also working and maintaining her own home with her 16-year-old son.
