Medical Expenses for Robert Bridwell

Hi, my name is Melissa, and I’m fundraising for my best friend, Veronica and Robert Bridwell.

UPDATE from Veronica:

It has been a difficult couple of weeks. Today we made the decision to ask hospice to come in and support us in giving Robert Bridwell the necessary care focused on his comfort and quality of life. It was one of the most difficult decisions I have had to make. Mostly because I am selfish and would love to spend every possible minute with him. There has been a rapid decline in him over the last two weeks. When I came home yesterday he was really confused and lethargic. I spoke with his doctor who confirmed that he felt we have done everything in our power to extend his time with us. He told me he felt that the best thing to do is to allow him peace and comfort along with quality time with family. We know that many of you have thought about us in this journey and we really do appreciate that. We hope that if you get anything from reading this, it would be to take care of your loved ones and make sure they know how much you love them. We will be spending the rest of our time next to him and loving him till the last second we have. We know that you will understand that our remaining time with him is both precious and fragile. In early December doctors found 3 tumors in Rob’s brain and diagnosed him with glioblastoma. It was very sudden and a hard hit of news for our family to process.

Rob recently finished up his radiation treatment, and will be looking at other forms of treatment to help manage his cancer.

I’m creating this fundraiser in hopes of helping Rob and Veronica, pay off some of their medical expenses. Any and All donations are greatly appreciated,
