Medical expenses for Russell

This young family needs our help with medical bills and related expenses. Russell Michael Smith is a precious 10-month-old baby! He has been diagnosed with Stage 3, Group 3, Rhabdomyosarcoma, a cancerous tumor in his pelvis. Russell is about to begin a journey that includes a 42-week chemo regimen at Children’s Hospital of Alabama.

One rule the family has established as they walk into this new phase of life with Russell: no one is allowed to use the phrase, “the c-word” or anything other than cancer. By not saying “cancer,” you give it power over you. And we are not afraid because we serve God, our healer!

Treatment will likely begin the week of July 10th.

We continue to ask for prayers that God shrinks and cures this tumor, and that Russell does not need surgery down the road as it could be high risk. 1 Corinthians 3:7!
