Medical expenses for Shania

Hi, my name is Shauna and I have started this go fund me for my daughter, Shania.

Shania has made posts about her declining health but what has not been talked about is the huge financial burden this has brought.

Shania had a surgery in Oct. 2022 to which she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Endometriosis. She also had 2 decent sized ovarian cysts that were drained. The surgery alone was $5000. Since then Shania has been on countless medications, one of which was $3500 because insurance declined it.

Fast forward to Jan. 2023 when her Fertility Dr discovered her 2 ovarian cysts were back and much larger. She will need another surgery with an Endometriosis Specialist at the end of February that will cost another $5000. Both of her Drs are located 2 hours away. We have spent a lot in gas money with the trips to and from to see her Drs.

Since Oct 2022 Shania has not been able to work as much as she used to but in Jan 2023 she has not been able to work at all due to the severity of the pain. She has been staying with me to allow myself to be her primary caretaker while her husband, Blake, works full time to make sure all of the bills are paid.

The money that will be donated to us will go straight to the medical bills, gas money, and hotel stay for her surgery.

Anything would be greatly appreciated but of course just a simple share to get her story out here will help as well.
