Medical expenses for Tammy Jackson

My name is Tammy Jackson, and many of you may have seen my story featured in the Netflix Original documentary The Bleeding Edge.
After experiencing stress urinary incontinence in 2007, I was implanted with pelvic mesh and my health went into a downward spiral. In the past 11 years, I have had 21 surgeries, including a total hysterectomy, to deal with kidney atrophy and decreased kidney function, and a PICC line for over 10 month with IV antibiotic infusions 3 times a day, 7 days a week. I was hospitalized seven times for antibiotic resistance sepsis seven times in seven months.
I am now in kidney failure and waiting for a kidney transplant, as well as another partial mesh removal surgery, to remove mesh from the pelvic bone. To make matters worse, my husband Byron recently lost his job of 29 years, when the plant where he worked was shut down.
I’ve never asked for money before, but between my medical bills and the loss of Byron’s income, we would be grateful for any help you can provide us.
