On Friday October 18th at approximately 10:30pm, Tara was coming home from an event. A few blocks from her home someone ran a stop sign and t-boned into her and her motorcycle.
Tara was rushed to Royal Columbian Hospital to the trauma unit. On Saturday, Tara spent the majority of the day in surgery as they rebuilt her leg. They installed a metal rod as the fractures in her leg are severe. Tara also has major burns on her legs and bruising all over her body.
Tara has a long road of recovery ahead. She is a single mom of two kids with a lot of commitments at home. All monies raised will be used for additional medical expenses, child care, in-home care, transportation, and financial obligations.
Please join us in helping to support her through this horrific experience.
