Medical exp. and income loss for Terri Brown

Hi! My name is Bri (Terri's daughter)

On Monday July 3rd, I recieved a call from my Mom and she seemed off, confused and worried. She continued to tell me she thinks something is wrong but she was losing bits and pieces of her memory as she was speaking. I called 911 on my sons phone and kept her on the line, I was almost sure she may had been having a stroke. Medics arrived and they told her she needed to be seen for a CT and that her blood pressure was extremely high. (As most of you know, she is supposed to be starting her new job on 7/10 so her medical coverage from her prior employer may not cover the current situation) with uncertainty of her insurance, she did not want to go in the ambulance. With the help of her wonderful boyfriend Joe, he was able to drive her to the nearest ER, where they did a CT & MRI. It was then discovered that Mom has a brain tumor and would need to be transferred to the U of M Hospital, she has been here since Monday.

Today at 1:30pm she will be going in for surgery, they will do a biopsy and procedure at the time. There is a possibility of this mass being cancerous (Glioblastoma) but they will be determining that during the surgery, and that will affect the plans moving forward.

Due to her possible lapse in medical coverage (which she is highly concerned about), her current visit, surgery and possible chemo / treatment moving forward I wanted to set this up to give her a piece of mind so she can get all the help and care she needs without hesitation.
