Medical Expenses for the Blattner Family
Donation protected
Sweet little Eliana Rae has spent the last month at Helen Devos Children's Hospital where she will stay for an unknown amount of time.
In her short life, Eliana has already faced more trials than most of us ever will with two brain surgeries, numerous MRIs, near-constant poking and prodding, and endless consultations with specialists of all kinds. And even still, Danielle has caught a couple smiles on Elli's face! She is such a brave fighter. I know we are all excited for the day we can meet her.
Her incredible parents have prayerfully persevered through the intense highs and lows of her hospital stay despite the long days and unrestful nights of interventions, waiting, and uncertainty. They are amazing! What comes next is still relatively unknown. We pray for her brain to be able to work through and dissolve blockages on its own while maintaining a proper fluid equilibrium with her newly-placed shunt.
One thing is certain, though: the medical bills are already starting to make an appearance, and we want to keep the stress surrounding the expenses nonexistent for this family. With a global viral pandemic, Danielle being laid off, two toddler boys at home, the parents shuffling between TC and GR, and Eliana's care, they have more than enough to worry about already! This is one way we can show our love and support.
The expenses aren't fully known right now, but I can adjust the goal once we have more understanding. Anything raised above the end goal will be extremely helpful for the appointments she will need to have with specialists for her entire lifetime to come.
Every little bit raised really does help this family and bring us closer to our goal. Thank you for your generosity and ongoing prayerful support of the Blattner Family. They have felt and been sustained by the love and prayers of SO many!
