Medical expenses for Trooper Nelson
Donation protected
Most of you know my dad as Trooper Nelson. He picked Forks to work in because of the small close nit community, which has been amazing for all of us. I know my parents would never ask anyone for anything but on November 6th while my dad was cutting wood, he collapsed, I found him within a few minutes (thinking he was messing with me since he’s always been healthy and is only 54) I realized he was not very quickly, he was completely limp but breathing, the ambulance got to us fast. The Forks hospital was ready and waiting, the air flight had been called, Forks did what it does best and got him to harborveiw as fast as possible, he had a bleed in his brain, we still haven’t gotten a answer to why it happened to him, lots of test to come. He has been improving from the moment I found him, he’s moving better by the day. My mom hasnt left his side, and I plan on staying in Seattle until he can come home. The doctors and we his family believe and can see he has it in him for a full recovery but it’s going to take a lot of time in intense physical therapy at harborveiw. The WSP family has been beyond amazing to our family but as time goes on bills will be adding up for my mom and dad and I don’t want them to have anything else on their minds during this healing process, any donations are appreciated and will be used for medical bills.
