Medical expenses for upcoming surgeries

Hey there my name is Tanya McNamara. I am the spouse of Amanda McNamara. As a lot of you all know Amanda was diagnosed with a very rare disease called achalasia back in 2018. It’s an esophageal disease where food and liquids have a hard time passing through her esophagus down into her stomach. It causes whatever she tries to process into her stomach to come back up. She also has a mass the size of a banana that has grown on her esophagus for trying to force food and liquid down for so long. As the years have gone by she has grown to it being a part of her life and struggles with it day in and day out. Also as the years have gone by it’s gotten progressively worse which is causing other health issues within her entire body. She is now underweight and ongoing health issues are starting to arise. Because of this rare disease it has been a costly struggle to get her in to many different doctors to get her completely diagnosed. But some how we did it! Now these past couple of years it has been a struggle trying to find a doctor that would perform the type of surgery that she needs to manage it without insurance. So what does she do?… she finds a job that has insurance and the doctor that she had a consultation with now doesn’t take her insurance. Then going back and forth with trying to find a doctor that will perform this surgery seems to be canceling on her the day before numerous times. As this disease is not curable it is manageable with the right treatment. With digging and digging we finally found a doctor through a friend of a friend that takes her insurance and provides the type of surgery she needs. She has consultation set up with him April 14th to get scheduled for her main surgery. But unfortunately this is not the only surgery she needs. She also has eye surgery needed and tons of testing for her entire body is attacking itself because it’s not getting what it needs to survive! Her mental health has had huge impact with all of this and the loss of her mother last year. We could use your help in any way possible to help with all the medical expenses coming her way!
