Medical Expenses for Victor Sanchez

On March 23rd, Victor was driving home from work when a deer ran out in front of his car. Victor swerved to miss the deer, heading straight for another vehicle. He swerved again to miss the car when he lost control of his vehicle and hit a large tree. Victor lost consciousness but thankfully, the car that he missed stopped to call 911 and waited with him until Emergency services arrived.

Victor was transferred to Wake Med Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he is in ICU. Victor suffers from broken vertebrae in his neck, two broken vertebrae in his back, seven broken ribs, a collapsed lung, bruised kidneys, and many scrapes and bruises.

While it is a complete miracle that Victor is alive, he has a long and painful road of recovery ahead. Even as he lies in the hospital full of unknowns, he asks about his job and expresses how ready he is to be back. When he should be thinking about himself and his own healing, he is, of course, thinking of his work family and is concerned about the impacts this tragedy will leave on his co-workers. That's the kind of person Victor is. He has one of the biggest hearts I've ever known. He would do absolutely anything in the world to protect and care for those who mean the most to him.

Right now, what Victor needs the most is peace of mind as he begins his journey to healing and recovery. He is facing mounting medical bills and is currently without a car as his was totaled in the accident.

Victor is one of the strongest human beings I have ever known. Unfortunately, he hasn't always been dealt the easiest of circumstances. In fact, many times, it has been the exact opposite. But, he has always managed to keep smiling and see the very best in others. We hope to show Victor just how much he is appreciated and cared for through this site.
