Medical expenses, healing and work coverage

Hi I’m Amanda!

I am 39 living in west Michigan with my husband and our dog Kelsea. I have a bachelor’s degree in illustration and have worked most of my life in customer service and as an entrepreneur.

I have always been a “go getter” with lots of energy and outgoing personality. However the past few years have taken me down and I no longer feel or act the way I used to. I’m swimming in medical bills and have more procedures coming up. I am advised by my doctor to take time off from work as I will have appointments 2-3 days a week with a pain clinic and other helpful tools including physical, occupational therapy and psychological therapy - but also because of the pain and fatigue….I’m currently working for myself cleaning large residential houses in Grand Rapids and surrounding areas. So with the list of ailments I am enduring, you’ll see below, you can understand why I am unable to do this job at the moment…. I DO PLAN TO GET BACK TO LIFE AND FULL TIME WORK!!

So in short here’s what has happened in the past few years for me....

My symptoms for the past 6 years:

chronic fatigue

chronic wide spread pain

chronic inflammation and headaches

slowed mobility and speech

cognitive issues

bladder control issues

brain fog

depression

anxiety

and many more symptoms…

Later I was:

- diagnosed with endometriosis

- multiple surgeries

- hysterectomy

- depression and S.I.

- pine rest week stay

- 30 day mental health program in Illinois

- diagnosed with fibromyalgia

- diagnosed with hyper mobility syndrome

- getting MRI in a few weeks on my brain to rule out MS and any other neurological issues… so that may add to the list at some point.

This is only a fraction of what has been thrown at me the past few years.

It’s humbling for me to ask for help, because I have always been great at making the best of any situation, but I have been on the other side many times and have donated to others causes.

When I am able to get back to full-time work within 1-3 months I plan to continue to donate to others in need, and fight for those who are unable to advocate for themselves.
