Medical expenses help for Dillon Waymire #13
Donation protected
On Friday night, our beloved #13, Dillon Waymire, became seriously ill on the sideline at the Butte vs. Kendrick football game. It became apparent quickly that he was in trouble and needed medical attention. He was transported by ambulance to St. Alphonsus. Once there, Dillon had emergency surgery to remove a blood clot, stop bleeding, and reduce swelling on his brain.
He is fighting for his life right now and could use all the help he can get. The injuries to his brain need time to heal. Dillon is going to need a lot of medical care. He is looking at future surgeries and the possibility of a rehabilitation center. There is also going to be traveling expenses for his family as they live 4-5 hours away from the hospital.
At this time, we are asking for prayers, love, and support for him. If you would like to donate to help with medical bills, we know this will relieve some pressure that his family is feeling. Our hope is to give his family some relief and help the focus to be on our boy, Dilly.
Thank you.
From Julie:
We just want to thank everyone for all the love and support you have shown our family. The prayers are helping more than you will ever know. Please keep them coming! Dillon is showing he is a true fighter. He made it through a surgery they told us he might not and he is showing small improvements every day. Being his fighting self that exactly what he does when they try and bring him off of sedation. It’s scary and between the vent and the restraints it pisses him off. So for now we are keeping him on sedation and letting him rest. Thanks for all the love. It means more to us than you will ever know.
