Medical Expenses - Mark Babb

Mark was my beloved husband for 32 years. We met in seminary where both of us were training to become pastors in the United Methodist Church. We both have served as pastor for a number of years.  Mark served as a minister of music in a number of churches. We are paid a living wage but  our ministries have not been about us accumulating money.  We have had so many good times together. He is the love of my life. This past year has been difficult for Mark with many health issues. His kidneys began to fail and he was admitted to the hospital on Nov. 5, 2020.  He received dialysis and the many other medical help that he needed. On Nov. 15 he tested postive for Covid and was moved to a special unit in the hospital. His condition contiuned to deteriorate from there. Then on December 1 he died. Therefore he was in the hospital for almost a month and had many tests and many doctors treating him. I am a pastor and I have a good income and have insurance. I know that the insurance will not cover all the expenses of Mark's treatment. I have no idea how I will be able to pay all these expenses plus the funeral expense for this man that I love. The funeral expenses will need to be paid soon. I do not know when the bills for his hospital stay and care will begin to arrive but I imagine they will begin to arrive soon. I am the one who be responsible for this fund and for the bills that will need to be paid. I want to be a responsible person and pay what is owed for the wonderful care he received and to provide for his burial. I hope you will be able to help in any way you can.
