The Hurt Family

Donation protected

Anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting Robert Hurt knows what a good father, husband, brother, son and man of God he is! Rob was always quick to help anyone in need, not only as his duties called him to do as a police officer but as a friend. It was rare to catch Rob without a smile on his face and you could always count on his upbeat demeanor to match that smile!

Early on the morning of November 16th, Rob was found unresponsive at home and was rushed to the hospital where he was setup on life support. Sadly, Rob was unable to regain consciousness is expected to be taken off life support sometime on November 18th.

Many prayers and blessings have most certainly flooded the gates of Heaven on his behalf during this time of sadness. It is important to remember that Rob is a man of the Lord, and he has been called back to Heaven to watch over and wait for those he loves. While the world will lose an amazing man as Rob lets go of his earthly body, Heaven will certainly rejoice in welcoming Rob back home.

As a Police Officer, Rob worked tirelessly to ensure our safety and that we were always safe and protected. Let’s now work together to show his family our gratitude for Rob by supporting them during this time of need. On behalf of the Hurt family, please consider making a monetary donation for medical expenses, funeral expenses and on-going family needs. If you are able to contribute money to help Rob's family during this time of need, please do so through GoFundMe. Please feel free to leave a note with your donation expressing your feelings or sharing a memory of Rob for the family to see later. Donations can also be made anonymously if you choose to do so.

Thank you so much for taking time to help support the Hurt family during this time of sadness. Your financial support will be one less thing that his family has to worry about at this time and I'm certain Rob would be appreciative of all the support his family receives. The level of support from his 'Brother's in Blue' is a testament to what a great man he was and he will never be forgotten, but will live on through our memories.

Rob leaves behind a wife and three children.
