Face Masks for those in Need
ONE DONATION | TWO CAUSES
I am a small manufacture in San Francisco that has halted production of my products due to Covid-19. I
started cutting out surgical masks from left-over material then I realized my contract-seamstress has
also lost her income. I’d like to raise money to have her sew washable masks for me to donate to the local hospitals. I too will continue to sew but she is able to produce 10 x’s what I make in a hour.
Consider donating $5.
UPDATE: due to the desire for the general public to wear masks, I am also offering MASKS for sale on my website: www.millielottie.com There is an option to purchase just a MASK for $15 or Buy a MASK + Donate a MASK for $20.
The first round of MEDICAL MASKS were mailed out Saturday, April 4 to a Women's Clinic in Washington DC, 60 to the 60 nurses in a COVID-19 Ward as UCSF that do not have protection once they leave the ward. I continue to mail to nurses at Kaiser ICU in San Jose, UCSF, San Francisco General, NY Presbyterian, individual medical staff that reach out. It is a pleasure to continue filling this need.
I have been able to donate over 600 MASKS including farm workers' families, children in under-served neighborhoods, and other essential workers.
The need is still out there so I have raised my GOAL so that the giving can continue.
Thank you,
Jan Hammock
