My name is Karen Lipko. 2 months ago my husband contacted a flesh eating bacteria. This is a deadly, deadly life threatening bacteria. We are not sure exactly how it was contracted. He has had 9 surgeries. Has to have a colostomy bag. Then, we are in for a long haul of Rehab. I came very close to losing him. He cannot work. He is still in the hospital with another surgery next week. He and I are the only family each of us had. Fox 35 contacted me and told our story, I had not much time to meet with her.
