Medical $ for 2 dogs dumped at Stockton Amtrak

Donation protected
The morning of March 2nd I was made aware of a Facebook post about 2 German shepards that were abandoned at the Stockton Amtrak station. I got in touch with animal control (shout out to Tara @ Stockton animal control) to ensure this post wasn’t a scam and the dogs were still there because I was over an hour away. She did some digging and awhile late I got a call back that they were still there. I drove down to Stockton and sure enough as soon as I got out of my car I was greeted by puppy kisses and the cutest girls ever. I talk with Amtrak security while I was there and he said they have been there for 2+ weeks and he has been feeding them. I talked with some of the homeless people in the area and nobody knows where they came from but everyone agrees they are THE SWEETEST GIRLS. They are not chipped. The long haired girl(Luci) seems a lot older than the short haired(mazi), I have suspicion that they are mother and daughter. They are EXTREMELY bonded. They are warm, clean, safe and fed. Luci seems to have some arthritis, and possible dental issues but I suspect they will both need to be spayed ASAP. This was a very spur of the moment rescue that I could not turn away from, any help to get these girls the vet care that they need would be greatly appreciated
