Medical for open wounds, cat colony
Déductible des impôts
The two (2) cats pictured have serious open wounds that will require veterinary care. They are part of the RSVP, Inc. Outreach Program that maintains approx. 150 homeless cats spread across different colony locations on Eastern Long Island. Our program provides TNR services (trap, neuter, return), outdoor shelter, food/water daily and medical care when possible. Life for these animals can be particularly harsh, as they are exposed to the elements, injuries and other risks.
Volunteers are coordinating efforts to trap and transport these two cats to a local vet, to be sedated, examined and treated. In addition, accommodations for their recovery have been arranged, to enable both animals to heal before being returned to their respective colonies.
Your donation, however small, will be used to relieve their pain and suffering and enable our volunteers to maintain these colonies, that have nowhere else to turn for help. Thank you in advance for caring.
*RSVP, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit, animal welfare organization that has been serving the communities on Eastern Long Island since 1996. The group was originally established as the Riverhead Shelter Volunteer Program, and later named “Responsible Solutions for Valued Pets”.
