Medical Fund for Bryce Duffy
Donation protected
Bryce, a De Forest Wisconsin native, is a 5th-year senior tight end on the Bemidji State University football team. He has played a crucial role in Bemidji State’s historic success in the past years. He has also been a 3-time NSIC (Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference) all-academic team award winner.
On October 15th, while playing Minnesota State Moorhead, Bryce suffered an injury to his spinal cord in the first half of the game. He was brought to the Fargo trauma center where he spent 8 days regaining movement in his extremities. After multiple scans, x-rays, and tests he was diagnosed with a spinal cord contusion. After being released from the trauma unit, he spent the last week in the Fargo rehabilitation center. Although he is expected to make a full recovery, he will still require prolonged outpatient rehabilitation.
The Bemidji State Football team, along with the Bemidji State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, is hopeful to raise money to help cover Bryce’s medical expenses while he spends time rehabbing and working toward a full recovery. Any donations are appreciated by the BSU athletic community and by Bryce and his family.
