Medical Fund for Carson Myers

Cory and Nikki Myers welcomed their sweet baby boy, Carson Emery, into the world on March 10, 2017. Earlier that week, Nikki had been admitted to the hospital due to the fact that she had not felt Carson move as he normally did. While the doctors confirmed that this was no major issue, they ran some tests and found that Nikki had Preeclampsia and that Carson had a very weak heartbeat. The doctors decided that an emergency C-section was in order, and baby Carson was born at 30 weeks and 1 day. He weighed only 1lb 12oz, and was 12.5 inches long, but praise the Lord he was a healthy baby boy. His mother Nikki is recovering well from the surgery, and Carson is growing and gaining weight every day.
Due to his premature birth, Carson will have to remain in the NICU roughly until his due date later in May. During this time, Nikki (a first grade teacher at Pensacola Christian Academy) will remain off of work to spend as much time as possible with her baby while he continues to grow. Cory will continue to finish his last semester of classes for his graduate degree, as well as working as much as possible to provide for his new, beautiful family. The family greatly covets your prayers and support at this time, but they will also be in need of financial assistance. Carson will have spent over 2 months in the hospital before he can go home with his parents, and medical procedures add up. Cory and Nikki had also planned on Nikki being able to finish out the school year teaching and earning an income, but God had other plans. They are trusting in God as a Great Provider to meet their needs, but as friends and family, we understand that God often uses His people to help meet the needs of others.
Any amount that you are able to give would greatly benefit this young family and help meet the needs of their medical expenses as well as other expenses that come with an expanding family and newborn.
