Medical Fund Miss Chandler Hamby

Two weeks ago, Chandler began experiencing headaches and weakness on her left side.  An MRI revealed two spots that could be radiation necrosis or tumor regrowth.  Another MRI will be done Saturday to evaluate her spine and see if there is any tumor activity there. If sp, her doctor will proceed to a clinical trial targeted at glioblastoma.  A sample of her tumor has been sent to a foundation that will determine if she is a match for any on-going trial.

      Though insurance has covered her previous treatment, the out-of-pocket expenses for evaluating this new development are high, and any experimental treatment will not be covered. There will also be travel expenses, living expenses if she must reside in another city while receiving treatment, and perhaps lost wages for family to be with her,
