My name is Craig Jaison I am 21 years old. I was born and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe, Africa, where I am residing at the present moment. I am studying at the University of Zimbabwe doing my second year in Actuarial sciences. This all started in November 2019 when I started experiencing problems when swallowing. After several tests and several false implications of what I was suffering from, I finally went for a barium meal test and an endoscopy. The results came back and revealed I had a blockage at the junction of the oesophagus and stomach. I was diagnosed with cancer. I had to undergo an 8 hour operation which left my family deep in debt. This was also caused by the fact that we had to get both a stomach and chest specialist for the surgery. They did the operation and
despite the fact that I have a short oesophagus, they cut a part of it to remove the tumor. Whilst waiting for my recovery we were referred to an oncologist because I kept finding difficulties in eating, swallowing. This was because I kept vomiting. I was also experiencing excruciating back pains. After more CT scans they detected lumps in my intestines. The doctors said it was a cancerous growth. As if this was not enough, they said I need to have both radiotherapy and chemotherapy. After numerous tests and consultations with numerous doctors and surgeons and specialists it added a massive strain on my family. I was diagnosed with stage III cancer of the oesophagus. This is a rare type of cancer and it affects the lymph nodes. Doctors are actually puzzled because this type of cancer does not normally happened to people my age but the elderly. In addition, at this stage, the cancer can also attack other body organs. Thus the urgency of the matter. This is worsened by the economic situation right now in Zimbabwe and the covid-19 pandemic. I am in need off USD 10 000 for my treatment. My family and I are really desperate for help. I pray you find it in your heart to help save my life. Help
me go back to university and have my normal life back again. I defeated cancer once please help me defeat cancer for the second time.
