Memorial Fund for Ed Leitz

Stacey Leitz is a friend and colleague and an important part of Westerly High School. Her husband Ed is very ill and is waiting for a liver transplant. Currently he is too sick to go on the transplant list but the hope is to get him healthy so he can go on the list and make it through surgery.

Ed was flown to a hospital in Florida last week. Stacey flew back and forth in one day to assist with his check-in. She and her young son have flown to Florida this weekend to be with him. Insurance does not cover their flights back and forth to visit him and did not cover the flight to transport him there. In addition, they are paying for meals and lodging.

Ed has been unable to work due to his illness for the past several years.  Any donations will be greatly appreciated as this young family tries to fight this disease and continue to be able to make ends meet.
