Medical Fund for Gary Chaffin

In May of 2019 my husband had a full knee replacement & unfortunately his recovery has not been what we expected. Gary is still using a walker & wheelchair to get around each day . Through tests we have discovered that there is another surgery needed to hopefully correct the problems with the knee area . When my husband had his first surgery we had wonderful insurance that covered the first surgery but unfortunately now we are without health insurance .
His company cancelled our health insurance because my husband has been out of work for 9 months . We have been denied 6 times for medical help through the state & Cobra was not a option for us due to limited income . We also where denied for help through our county . During this difficult time I have been my husbands caregiver & our girls have also stepped up to help anyway they can . After surgery Gary will need physical therapy at a facility 3 times a week for at least 4 months to get him back stronger after surgery . There will also be hospital charges , medications , equipment rented for home use & trips back & forth out of town for doctor visits . Gary has always been a hard working husband & father to provide for us all . This has been very difficult for him each day . Even through this difficult time we are all trusting in the Lord to guide & direct us each day . We believe that this surgery will help Gary start healing & that God will provide each need . Thank you for being apart of this journey with us . Thank you to all who has been a blessing to us during this difficult time . Please keep us all in your prayers ❤️ Gary’s goals are to walk again & get better & stronger . He wants to be able to work again & be able to walk our oldest down the aisle in November . Surgery is set for May 19th . We are praying for all needs to be met .
