Medical Fund for Lance Lucas!
Donation protected
Hey, I'm Jenn Robinson and I've created this fundraiser for my dear friend Lance Lucas from high school!
If you know or have had the pleasure of meeting Lance then you know you have already met one of the most extraordinary people in the world. Lance has been through more than anyone should in a lifetime, but he continues to stay positive, resilient, cheerful, funny, and just the sweetest. Lance is the definition of grit & grace.
Last year Lance was rushed to the hospital for a brain aneurysm and has not been able to work to support his family as needed. Lance was admitted again on November 21st at the Northside Hendricks Hospital in Abilene, TX where he is currently and has been for almost 4 weeks now. Lance has Loeys-Dietz syndrome a rare genetic disorder that affects the heart, blood vessels and connective tissue which protects, supports and gives structure to all other tissue and organs in the body.
I was able to video chat with Lance yesterday and he said the hardest part is missing out on his kids, and not being able to be home. He was beyond positive and Hendricks should be ever so lucky to get to know such a guy. We all know that the holiday season is a time to reflect on our blessings and seek out ways to make life better for those around us. So let's help Lance and his family out this holiday season.
So today I'm writing to ask you to support Lance. By donating any amount, and if you cannot donate, it only takes a minute to say a prayer or post a kind message to his Facebook. Lance and his family need all the support they can get.
Kindness is doing what you can, where you are, with what you have.
