Medical Fundraiser for JJ & Janece Salas

In January of 2020, we found out that my dads kidney was failing. There have been many points where his kidney levels got better and/or worse and it’s been a journey. In January 2021, we then found out that he had TMD (thin membrane disease). This mean he needed a kidney sooner. As soon as my family found out, my siblings and I volunteered to get tested to see if we where a match to give our dad any of our kidneys….and Janece happened to meet the requirements. After about a year of tests and labs we recently got news that she is a match for my Dad. We knew my dad would never ask , but it’s something she definitely wanted to do. Moving forward, a date has been set for next month and we couldn’t be any happier.

A medical fundraiser was put together from our family in Saipan, but there has been a tremendous amount of support from our family and friends here in the mainland as well, which is why we decided to start this gofund me page.

We are so grateful for this community of family and friends who have been so generous in supporting us with prayers, love, and monetary donations. All the monetary proceeds will be going towards the out-of-pocket costs that isn’t covered by insurance, monthly maintenance medications, any durable medical equipment, etc.
