MEDICAL FUNDS FOR KATHY JOWERS

I have set this fundraiser up to help my mom cover expenses for IV antibiotics that she HAS to have. I'm sure she doesn't love the idea of asking for help so I'm doing it for her. It's hard seeing her go through something like this and any kind of help will be appreciated more than I could express. Below I have put her explanation of what has been going on in her own words. Again, thank you to all of you who can help support her during this hard and stressful time.

"So over the last month it has been rough for me I have had to have another surgery on my foot and had the rest of the big toe removed on my right foot and most of the metatarsal where my little toe was because the bone became infected. I have had an open sore on my big toe since last October. It was a very hard decision to go ahead and have the big toe removed and lots of tears have been shed over it. I hate how my foot looks now and it is going to take me a while to get used to how it looks and feels. Now on top of everything else I have had to start IV antibiotics for 8 weeks because now they think I still have a bone Infection. It has been so stressful for so many reasons but most of all the cost of the antibiotics is not cheap and my insurance is terrible. If I had one thing that I could change it would be better healthcare for everyone not just me but everyone. Not sure how we will get through this but I just have to have faith and pray that it will all work out and pray even harder that the antibiotics heal the infection. So if you could send prayers my way I would appreciate it. The next 8 weeks are going to be long and exhausting. "
