Medical Funds for Michael Susi

Hi, my name is Christina and I am fundraising on behalf of my brother Mike. At 3 years old, Mike had surgery to remove a brain tumor. This created many struggles throughout his childhood as well as left him with a permanent disease of the adrenal glands. This past week, Mike began experiencing serious symptoms related to his brain. After countless tests and scans, they diagnosed him with a retrocerebellar cyst. The doctors were completely shocked by this, as they have never experienced his situation in textbooks or literature. Mike had to undergo an emergency surgery to remove the cyst and remove excess spinal fluid. Mike will be out of work for a minimum of 8 weeks and may need additional therapy to ensure a full recovery. He will have numerous medical expenses to pay for as well as monthly bills such as rent and childcare. We want Mike to focus on his health and to avoid any stress; Mike is an amazing father to his son and one of the strongest people I know. Thank you for all the support and prayers.
