Medical help Ayush Kumar
Tax deductible
Hello friends,
This is my personal appeal for urgent help to raise donations before March 2nd, 2023. We can’t make a difference in everyone's life but if we can make a positive impact on any one person's life, then it is well worth the effort!
Recently I visited the Shiva temple in Deoghar, India. During the discussion of planning to visit the temple for evening and morning Aarti, I got into a conversation with my driver about his family and daily life. During dinner that evening, my driver told me, that he makes about 10k Rupees a month and he has a family of four kids. One of his sons, is handicapped and he is struggling financially for his medical treatment while keeping up to provide with the daily requirements for his family.
I was numb as I listened about his life...nothing came to my mind at that time. Later that evening after Aarti, I went to my hotel to sleep. When I woke up in the morning, I was feeling little uneasy, and I felt like Shiva was directing me for the true purpose of my visit. It wasn't about visiting the temple, but it was about helping someone who is in need.
When my driver came in the morning to take me to the temple, I requested instead to visit his home...completely surprising him! At his home, I met his handicapped son about 12-13 years old. His handicap prevented him from being independent and he needed regular daily assistance for routine activities. It seemed to me like Shiva was telling me do something for this child and help make his life comfortable.
I will be visiting India in March and would like to set up a Fixed Deposit , at a bank in the name of this child, so that the interest from this account may go towards financial help for his medical requirements.
I need your help to help me raise this funding for this child. If I am able to raise beyond my goal, I will give this family more.
I will personally deliver the check and open the Bank Account in the child’s name.
