Medical Help for Bob Earnest

PLEASE READ UPDATE JANUARY 2023. 

We got some sad news yesterday. The cancer in dad’s liver has grown substantially and he now has several other tumors in the liver. MRI also showed that the cancer is now in the lymph nodes. This has really hit our family hard. There are two more kinds of treatment he can do, but we are now waiting to see if insurance will cover it. Of course the expenses are immense. In 2020, Bob Earnest began to notice problems with his vision. He was diagnosed with an aggressive Choroidal Melanoma that was removed along with his right eye, and was forced to retire.

In August 2022, a routine CT scan showed a 16mm mass in his liver and biopsy confirmed the same cancer that took his eye is now in the liver.

Bob is a proud man who has always worked hard and supported his family. He’s loved helping friends and strangers-if something breaks down, you can count on him to show up and fix anything.

That’s why it’s been a difficult decision for him to reach out for help now. Diagnosis has been extremely expensive and there will be medication, chemo, copays, traveling and appointments to pay for.

Let’s show Bob that we stand with him as he fights this cancer!
