Medical help for Danny

Donation protected
This is Danielle, Danny's wife, and our 2 beautiful children Wyatt and Payton. I know alot of you have heard our back story on Danny's health, but for those of you who haven't.. Danny began to have stomach issues earlier this year, which resulted in a hospital visit. A gallbladder test was done which came back inconclusive. Danny was put under for further testing including a scope, where the doctor found that his gallbladder wasn’t great. Surgery was scheduled for removal in June. Soon after the surgery, Danny’s health deteriorated quickly where he was out of work for 14 days. Danny became weak, jaundice and experienced excruciating pain. Blood work was done and they found that he was below transfusion level. That was quite concerning as Danny went in for a basic gallbladder removal. A CT scan of his abdomen was then completed, as it was thought he had internal bleeding from surgery. The test showed nothing. Danny went for another scan, this time with contrast. As frustrating as it is, nothing was found. We go home with no answers or direction on how to proceed. A day or so passes and Danny finds a hard spot on his side and began experiencing pain yet again. We took Danny to the ER, blood pressure skyrocketed and doctors were in disbelief that his hemoglobin was as low as we told them. Once tested, it was confirmed. Danny was hospitalized for three days where he was on a permanent IV, received two blood transfusions and one iron. A colonoscopy, endoscopy and MRI was scheduled and completed. Outside from a small polyp, which was sent for biopsy, everything came back fine. Danny was then referred to a cancer and blood disorder doctor as the prior doctor said they’ve done all the tests they can do. This doctor saw how low his blood levels were and put Danny on weekly transfusions to maintain (the best they can) his hemoglobin. A cardiologist specialist did a scan of heart which also came back okay. Blood disorder doctor continues to refuse a cancer test until ruling out active bleeding. We are currently on a wait for a radiation capsule test. We have been to multiple doctors and specialists with no answers. Many tests and procedures have been done and no luck at finding out what is wrong with him. Our last hope is to go to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. I lost my insurance this past year and Danny's insurance won't cover medical at Mayo. Off the top we are required to have $5,000. This is not accounting for hotel stays, traveling, expenses while there, along with all the medical testing he's had since June. We absolutely hate asking for help, this is a last resort. If anyone is able to donate we would greatly appreciate it. This will be updated as we find out more. Thank you!
