Medical help for Pam Lowery

As many of you know Our Pam has had a very rough & long struggle with Covid/Pneumonia.

Her journey began on January 13, 2022, as she was taken to the ER and admitted to the Hospital with Covid/Pneumonia/Severe UTI.

On January 16, 2022, Pam coded and was placed on Life Support and went into a coma.

On January 20, 2022, She had a Massive Heart Attack. Because of her kidneys being damaged (from the Covid) and her Critical State, the Cardiologist had to preform the first Heart Procedure on the 20th, then wait 24hrs and preform the second needed Heart Procedure. Pam’s Heart is only working at 40% - 45%. Pam required two (2) units of Blood at that time.

Pam was so Critical, the Doctors did NOT give us much hope for her recovery. She was given a LESS than 2% chance of ever leaving the ICU unit or the hospital.

Pneumonia

Coma - Life Support

Covid Lungs (fluid on lungs & hardening of lung tissues)

Fluids on the Lungs

Fluid around the Heart

Stroke

Massive Heart Attack

Four (4) Heart Procedures

Blood Clots

Oxygen Level Issues

Paralyzed - Upper & Lower Extremities

Drop Foot

Speech Issues

Critical Kidney Issues

Intestinal Blockage & Infection

Continued Diabetic Issues

Continued Blood Sugar Issues (at one time

her BS was 427)

Continued Low Blood Pressure

Continued Potassium Issues

Just being a “Pin Cushion”

She has been through so much!

Pam has beaten the odds and made it out of ICU and the Hospital. The Doctors and Nurses were amazed!

On March 1, 2022, Pam was transferred to Prattville Health and Rehabilitation.

She has had to learn the basics of Life all over again.

Talk, feed herself, brush her teeth, just sitting on the side of the bed, things we take for granted.

Pam can now walk with the aid of a walker, but at times must still use the wheelchair.

Pam is doing so well in Rehab, She is preparing to come home soon.

We are excited.

We have so appreciated all the cards and especially the wonderful prayers that were offered up for Pam.

We have come to find some items and expenses that Pam will need when she comes home will NOT be covered by her Insurance.

We are humbling asking for help.
