Medical Help for Vesa, an only child.

For our 13-year-old Vesa, a sweet 8th-grade girl who is always smiling, loves basketball, drawing, and nature walks, and is full of hope for her recovery with your support.

Vesa suffered severe damage to her common hepatic bile duct and underwent surgery to remove her gallbladder (cholecystectomy) at the Pediatric Hospital in Tirana on October 3, 2024.

Due to a surgical error during the gallbladder removal, failure to identify the issue, and the lack of timely intervention over two weeks, Vesa developed severe complications affecting vital organs, putting her life at risk and forcing us to seek treatment at Memorial Hospital, a specialized hospital in Istanbul, Turkey, on October 21.

Three surgeries have been performed so far, and the next and most critical procedure is the reconstruction of her hepatic ducts, an extremely complex procedure requiring specialized surgical expertise. The cost for this phase is approximately $180,000. Her recovery will be long and difficult.
