Health and Medical Expenses

Hello, my name is Danica Moorehand. My brother’s best friend, DeShaun Holden, and I are fundraising for my brother, Warner McPherson, who was involved in a senseless shooting that has led him to be paralyzed from the chest down.

Warner was shot seven times on Monday, 11/29/2021 after leaving work at a local gas station. He worked for Amazon Delivery Service as a Delivery Driver. Despite the horrific incident that took place he survived and is able to be here with us to advocate against gun violence. This incident has affected him mentally, physically, and emotionally. After receiving the horrible news that he would not be able to walk again and realizing the long road of recovery ahead of us we are not able to do it alone. Due to his medical insurance covering only a partial amount we need to raise money in order to cover all of his medical expenses that will exceed what the insurance company will cover. We are looking to send Warner to the Shepherds Spine Center, which is one of the best Spine rehabilitation centers in the country.  

Warner has been very positive throughout this horrible time, and I don’t want him to worry about anything besides getting better. If you are able to donate anything Warner, his family, and friends would greatly appreciate it.
