Medical Mission- Amani Baby Cottage
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
As most of you know I was just in Jinja, Uganda for three weeks serving at Amani Baby Cottage. I absolutely fell in love with Jinja- the people, the place and of course the children. It was incredibly difficult to get on the plane and return to the states but I did need to come home in order to get back to Uganda again. God put on my heart within the first few days a strong desire to go back and serve for a longer period of time 6-12 month which I never would have imagined. While I was there I worked on setting up Amani medical Clinic-everything from painting and reorganizing to restocking medication and rewriting the job descriptions of the Amani nurses. I was able to do one medical outreach in a village with a Doctor that works closely with Amani and visit a local hospital in Jinja town center.
I would love for you to prayerfully consider financially supporting me so that I can return to Amani Baby Cottage in Jinja, Uganda for a year starting at the end of January 2020. In order to move to Uganda and live there for a year I would need to raise support of $15,000. While I am there I would continue to work at Amani clinic and help train a Ugandan nurse to run the clinic. I would have more opportunities to do prenatal and postnatal medical outreaches in the local villages and lastly, I plan to work as a volunteer one day a week at a children’s hospital in Jinga town center.
My heart is to serve the Lord by serving orphans through my passion for healthcare. This is an incredible opportunity and I need you to prayerfully and financially consider supporting me. Thank you for your prayers and support.
“Then he said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into the harvest.” Matthew 9: 37-38
