Update! Making Ashley Moves!

UPDATE****

Unlike Cardi B who doesn’t dance anymore since she makes money moves. I am once again, reaching out to our village in hopes that; 1. I won’t have to dance to make money, and 2. We can help out my girls again!

For everyone who has shared, donated, or reached out since Dolan’s injury, I know she and Ashley Brown are both extremely grateful! Dolans surgery went awesome, she’s got some gnarly scars, but is walking and healing well. She just started back work this week, and that also went great.

Now! The real reason for the update. Both of the Ashley’s live in Salem, and work in the Tigard/Tualatin area. Quite the daily commute, but they’ve been doing this for years now with no complaints. Unfortunately, the area they live in is not the best, there are multiple break ins, robberies, and assaults that take place regularly in their area. For the time they’ve lived there they’ve been extremely lucky, however it appears their luck has ran out.

Last night when Dolan returned home, she was robbed at gun point, and they stole her car. She was able to sneak away with her phone, hide in some bushes and call 911. Since the area they live in already has multiple problems the police were able to locate her car and 2 of the suspects rather quickly, and she was able to identify them while waiting with the police. With that being said, it’s time to Make Ashley Moves!

Their lease doesn’t end until February, but with recent events we need to get these girls out of that area as soon as possible. Next time may not be as lucky.

Currently they pay $1415 a month base rent plus utilities, they most likely will have to pay that amount to break the lease early. Most apartments that I’ve reached out to in my area (King City) mentioned depending on credit and rental history the most a deposit would be is equivalent to 1 month rent or less. Our apartment complex averages around $1700 for the available units. And to move in they’d pay the prorated month amount depending on the day, and then the fully rental amount on the first.

We’ve done it once, and I’m hoping we can do it again and help them out. If not, looks like baby mama will be taking to the stage, and making money moves like Cardi B used to.

Half Sass team here. If you were at The Womens LCP softball tournament at Prarie this weekend you may have seen an Ambulance rush in and one of our beloved teammates taken from the field on a stretcher. During our final game of the day, Ashley Dolan rounded second, took a fall, broke her tibia, fibula, and dislocated her ankle. Ashley just started a new job and has not received her insurance benefits yet, as well as she will be down and out for a while. While her partner, Ashley Brown is still working, going from a two family income to a one is quite stressful. Our team and family would like to take some of the stressors off of the Ashley’s and help as much as we can. If you can donate, share, or assist in any way. We know they would appreciate it greatly!
