11/21 update: Maranda sent me a message this morning!

Good news! His lungs sound better! Less phlegmy and more wheezing from the viruses not him (if that makes sense). They turned the ventilator way down and hope to back off of it slowly today and tomorrow. Cooks is full and has been on diversion since yesterday. I’m so happy he is finally turning a corner! Praise God! ♥️

They said we’d be here another week once he finally gets off the ventilator, then special care at home for another week.

11/16 update: I spoke to Maranda today and Camdin unfortunately has not made any progress and is still in ICU. Doctors have told her to expect to be there a while. Feeding tube is being put in today. Please please keep praying for this family & share this. I want her to be able to focus on her son & not have to worry about how she’s going to pay her rent or other expenses. Thank you

Hi, my name is Jade Leake & I am making this gofund me for Maranda Patterson. Her two year old son was suddenly rushed to Lubbock yesterday by ambulance & is now on life support. He’s been diagnosed with RSV & Pneumonia. Just a month ago she was at the same hospital saying her goodbyes to her sons dad before they took him off life support. She is a single mom with three kids & has already taken so much time off work for the recent events that have taken place. Anything helps, I am hoping together we can help this family during their time of need. If you are unable to donate I ask that you keep them in your prayers. Thank you!
